Dogfight Audition Sign-up Form
Please ensure that you understand the rehearsal and performance dates!

This production will involve considerable commitment from you. ZEST will be investing a large amount and, in addition, many other members will be investing a great deal of their own time. Therefore, we ask that you understand and agree with the following points:

- ZEST is an amateur group and none of the cast or crew is paid. 

- All actors must be able to attend all tech week and production performances.  Rehearsals start in May and actors should be prepared to commit to 2 to 3 rehearsals a week. These may include weekend rehearsals. Rehearsals may be more frequent closer to production. Please list on the auditions form ALL expected dates of unavailability so we can schedule accordingly.

- Technical and dress rehearsals: 30th October - 5th November 2024

- Performances: 6th - 16th November 2024

- Unless otherwise agreed beforehand, you will attend all rehearsals.

- Rehearsal dates will be communicated as early as possible and will always be discussed with the entire cast to work around any planned absences and regular commitments.

- We have no understudies. You agree to inform the directors as soon as possible if your availability changes at any point during the rehearsal process so that changes to the rehearsal schedule can be made, if necessary.

- You agree to be photographed, filmed, and interviewed for publicity materials.

- If not already a ZEST member, you will become one. The Membership Secretary will send you details, if cast. (https://www.thezest.ch/membership)

- ZEST generally does not reimburse transportation costs, but exceptions will be made in certain cases as defined in the Travel Expenses Policy (https://www.thezest.ch/travel-expenses)

- Auditions are open to anyone over 16 years of age. ZEST members and non-members are welcome to audition.

- If you are not cast, please consider volunteering to work on a technical crew.

This will not affect our casting decision in any way!! It's purely for information for the creative team. If you can play/are willing to learn, it's just for a short section in one song of approximately 20 seconds length. You don't need to play the guitar at your audition.
